Did anyone see Oprah yesterday? The bra and jean intervention!
I want to get measured, but I don't want to travel into Nassau or the city, anyone know a good place in Eastern Suffolk?

I saw it. Can't you measure yourself...I remember I saw on tyra banks show who to measure yourself...I was a little surprised to find I am actually a D, not a C (makes sense though my cups can be a little 'full')

here it is:
80% of women wear the wrong size bra so, grab a measuring tape and follow these steps to learn your measurements.
Band Size: place your measuring tape just below your breasts and around your body. Once you have determined that measurement, add five to that number. If you get an odd number, round up. That new total represents your band size.
Cup Size: place the measure tape across the fullest part of your bust and around your body. Don’t pull the tape tight, leave it a little loose across your breasts. Subtract this number from the Band Size figure. The difference determines your cup size as follows:
Less than 1 inch = AA
1" = A
2" = B
3" = C
4" = D
5" = E or DD
6" = F or DDD, etc.

OMG, yes. I've been trying to find jeans that fit me comfortable and right for so long now. I also experienced the same with my bras. Well, thanks to Oprah, I went on a shopping spree today. Kohl's is having a 50% sale.
Well, they were so right with the bras. I "thought" I wore a 36B but I tried on a 34C and I was amazed. It fit so comfortable. I didn't have myself measured, I just estimated by what the show was going by.
The jeans are also great. I bought 3 pairs of jeans that are not only comfortable, but look cute too. This was one of her best shows. I learned so much. I loved watching it !

this way of measuring seems to be right!
what did they say for the jeans?

JC Penneys has measuring events- thats where I was measured. They'll also recommend bras from their store that will fit you well. And the bras are always on sale when they have this event! You have to make an appt.
I wasn't so comfortable making the appt, but the woman that helped me was a SWEET old lady and made me feel beautiful in my skin. It was a good experience!
I think macy's does it too - i would give 'em a call!

I stopped in VS today because I thought my Angel Bra's had been ridding up in the back 34B I asked them to measure me and found out yup it's been happening because it's too big I'm a 32B.
I was wearing 36 D's during my pregnancy and breastfeeding so I was shocked guess I'm getting skiiny again.. but now I'm ****** because I have two 34B's at home that I only wore once and were like 38 bucks a bra!
I think Bra's are soooooooooo important my size changed so much during my pregnancy and after with engorgement and feeding and my girls still look good and are where they are supposed to be because of the Bra's I wore during my pregnancy and post partum!!

Georgettes in hicksville will measure you for free, they are great. I've never bought any of their bras but they were the ones who told me i was wearing the wrong bra size for the last 10 years!

You can go to Blum's in Patchogue to be measured for bras. They are like Georgette's but much bigger of a store. They do custom fits though.
I don't know about the jeans, honestly. SOrry! Is there an Oprah website you can check?
