is/has anyone getting a physical before TTc?
my DH thinks i should because i havent gotten one in 2 years..but i'm terrified of needles and i dont want to get a blood test... I know that when i am PG i'll have to have several needles, but i'd rather wait until then.

I didnt, but I eventually needed to see a RE for TTC and they make you take a ton of blood work so I had that as a starting point.
I think you should if you havent been to the DR. in 2 years, but if you seem perfectly healthy , and get PG pretty early they will test for things then and you can hold off.
If you have any trouble TTC , I would see the Dr for some routine tests...

I did...and I;m glad that I did, because it gave me an oppurtunity to discuss what will probably happen with my Dr....since I will be considered a high risk pregnancy. It really helps me and DH to be prepared for the worse...even though we are hoping for the best.

I had a physical, and am glad I did as well...
Boobobunny..Did you switch from a your reg ob/gyn to a high risk ob/gyn?
I'm 36 soon to be 37 and thinking about switching to a high risk Dr, but not sure who to switch too? I would like to switch before I get pregnant. When I asked my ob/gyn, he rushed me out the room and said just wait til I get pregnant, then he will reccommend someone. I was hoping it would of been the opposite way around. My ob/gyn really didn't take the time to talk. Now I am left more confused...
