Is or did everyone have a wishing well at their baby shower?
I didnt want one and my stepmom called last night asking if I was having one. My mom sent out the invites a long time ago and it doesnt say wishing well. The last 5 babyshowers I went too they didnt have a wishing well.
curious if I should get one??????????TIA.

i didnt have one at my baby shower, only my bridal shower. but i think thats a cute idea to have one at the baby shower as well.

should I get one even though it doesnt say it on the invitation?
for my bridal shower the wishing well was for the groom.- he got a ton of nice gifts just for him,
but Im not sure what to do- my stepmom said its good for pacifiers, rattles, toys people put those in there. ugh I dont know what to do!!!

My mom bought the hamper I registered for and that will be the wishing well should anyone bring little items that were mentioned above.

I'm having one at mine, but it was on the invite. I think some people will bring stuff anyway just in case.

thanks ladies!!!! I love the hamper or basket idea I am going to do one of those ideas. Im just not into the wishing well thing for a baby shower.

you guys dont know what you're having right?
Are you getting a moses basket? Walmart has cheap ones (in fact I bought 2 by accident and have to return one) and you could use that.

Nope we dont know the sex. Hmmm a moses basket- you have great ideas.
On my registery for bru I put on info up top wishing well- for those who might wonder while looking at the registery. I hope that will clear it up.

This is 29.34 at Walmart.com, it came to about $40 with shipping,which is still half price than most of them.
Its actually really nice and I cant tell the difference from the BRU ones- I didnt want to spend a lot of $$ on them, but thought they were cute and I can justify spending only $30 plus shipping.

You can also have a bookcase and have everyone bring story books for the baby.....
I like this idea and wish I have it on mine. I gave them hints.
And someone on here had this as well. Let me see if I can find the post to bump it up for you.

Instead of A WW, my mom had every guest bring a book for the baby. Now my son has baskets full of all different kinds of stories

My guests were asked to bring a book for the babies' library. You could put a baby basket out just in case people bring something - or have your mom spread the word for whatever you want to do, before your shower.

We're having a themed wishing well at mine. People were asked to bring a book for the baby. I think they are going to use a moses basket or a small bassinet for that, something I can use again.

i had one and i loved it. it was full of wipes, pacifiers, bibs, small toys and rattles, booties, socks, pic frames, etc. i loved getting home after my shower was over and still having the wishing well to open

I didn't have one. I love the book idea and would have wanted that if we weren't coming in from out of state. It would have been a pain to get the books home on the plane with us or ship them.
