How do you make a baby who doesn't want to sleep, sleep???

Anyone have any ideas??? Besides drugging them!! Last night was a nightmare, put Dr. Noah down to bed at 7, fell asleep immediately, the bloody minute my head hits the pillow, HE WAKES UP...we are up until almost 3 am...watching the telly, talking to each other, talking to the cats....then rocking him, putting him in the crib, rocking him...

Flipping Heck!!! I hate when that happens!!!

been there. I used to put Patrick in between me & hubby. He would fall asleep after that.

I heard you can run the vacuum and the white noise puts them to sleep. My sister tried this and it worked once . HTH. Hey it is worth a try!

Can I just tell you what a nice wife I am...I didn't let the baby cry it out (which I wanted to do) because DADDY was sleeping!!!

Honestly when that happens we take her in the bed with us and she always falls esleep. It's a bad habit but it doesn't happen all the time. Most nights she sleeps just fine in her crib.
