so i had a visit to labor and delivery on sat....
i had been having bad pain in my stomach (still kind of am) since friday afternoon at work....on sat afternoon my mom and tom had me call the doctor. he said- and i quote-"kristen, this is a baby not a car, go to labor and delivery immediately" i knew it wasn't contractions, but headed over to good sam.....felt so dumb bc we went to emergency thinking they would send us there (obviously this was all new to us). they had someone take us up, i was monitored ( no contractions), had a sono, they listened to his heartbeat, did a urinalysis....it was crazy. but, they said the pain is probably from ligaments stretching so much and from any stress lately (and oh has there been plenty). anyway, after 2 hours i was on my merry way...my mom was so nervous and came over too bc i don't have such great odds with medical things! haha...but all is ok! he's measuring 12 ounces.....we go tonight to my high risk doctor, tomorrow to my ob and friday for a fetal echocardiogram. nuts, i know! anyway- just wanted to share...i was joking with the doctors saying this was my dry run to test them out! 
of course i was just relieved all was ok.

thanks girls!!! its funny bc i really wasn't even going to call the doctor i wanted to check on here first and see if anyone else knew what it was i was feeling...but our internet was down!! so, my doctor it was!!! the next best thing!
