Is it a bad sign if you almost faint
during the hospital tour?? I was doing okay, but then it was really warm, and I'd been standing for like 20 minutes, and I got lightheaded and sweaty... Oh man how am I going survive labor??

Re: Is it a bad sign if you almost faint
Its normal, I was about 5 or 6 months pregnant and I had to take my MIL to the hospital because she was having stomach pains, so while we were there they had to take blood from her and other tests and I was standing for a while, and I started to feel hot sweaty and my vision started to get fuzzy, I had to walk out into the waiting room where I feel onto the chair, and thankgod a nurse was there to help me and get me water. It was very scary!

Re: Is it a bad sign if you almost faint
I used to feel faint often when I was about 5 months with my first pregnancy.

WHen I was 17 weeks pregnant I actually passed out in BRU. It was scary as all heck!
I went through all kinds of testing and nothing was wrong, it was just a fluke -- and the doctor said that sometimes when you are PG it effects your circulation so you should avoid standing for extended amounts of time.

I remember feeling the same way, and having to sit in one of the chairs in the L&D room. I was already 9 months along and it was just hot during the tour, plus I was hungry.
