Anyone here a nurse in a doctors office?
My PCP is one of 4 doctors in an office, all the doctors deal with one nurse...well the nurse my doctor has (Her name is Lynne) well...to be blunt she SUUCKKKS! She is ALWAYS dropping hte ball and rarely calls me back in a timely fashion...any ideas on how I can light a flame under her @ss?
I have an appt in less than an hour and she was supposed to call me when she put in the referral and sent off the x-ray and I have yet to hear from her, I just tried to call her and got her voicemail and I am REALLLY afraid that she is going to screw this up and I won't be able to meet with the doctor today.

Can you call the dr directly and ask about the status of the referral?? say that you havent heard anything from the nurse, and just wanted to be sure everything's been set for your appt...

I just tried that...and there is no one there now because apparently the entire office is out to lunch.

Call the office manager... I hope this helps, or just keep calling every hour. I work for a doctor and would never ever ever do this to anyone, I am the rare one, I feel bad for people in these situations. Good luck. HTH

The nurse never sent the report nor did she send the referral  SOO DH and I went to the original place I got the x-rays and picked it up ourselves then we got to the office and had this office call my nurse and demand the referral.
I think its safe to say I am done with her!
On top of dealing with that...I had to have a camera shoved up my nose today, had to fight with my insurance company (they wanted to give me a class D drug instead of the B that the doctor prescribed...real nice!) and a kid on a bike hit my car

No kidding.
I have complained about her from the begining and kept giving her the benefit of the doubt but now I am done.
This is the same nurse that asked me (when I came in for a referral to the RE) "did you ever think if maybe you just relaxed then you would finally get pregnant"

No kidding.

There is a silver lining.
I feel in love with DH all over again these last two days. I think its adorable how protective he has gotten of me and how much he did to make things happen.
