Co-op board personal letter question
I am preparing my co-op board packet and need one personal letter for each buyer. What exactly has to be in the letter?

Re: Co-op board personal letter question
I believe when we did ours the letters were just something to support our characters as responsible, trustworthy people. We got them from friends and family and that was fine.

Re: Co-op board personal letter question
This is the text of a letter I wrote for my friend for her co-op package:
I am pleased to recommend John and Jane Doe to be residents of [NAME OF CO-OP].
I have been friends with Jane for well over 10 years and John for approximately 6 years. They both maintain a high level of integrity and have an impeccable reputation, as well as the utmost respect of their colleagues. I see them often and find them to be good company with a wide variety of interests.
They are committed to working and living in New York. I have no doubt that they will be great neighbors and a welcome addition to your cooperative for many years to come.
Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions you may have.

Re: Co-op board personal letter question
as a co-op board member. I wouldnt care if it was typed or handwritten. When I submitted my own application, I had one of each.
