My 4 year old told me about the birds and the bees today.
When we were coming home today I asked my 4 year old son, if he took a nap today at school (daycare) he said no. I asked him why. He said because I didn't want to sleep too much. Once again I asked why. He told me that when you sleep too much you get a baby in your belly.  Now I'm trying my hardest not to laugh when I ask him, how he knew that. He said his "girlfriend" told him that when he tried to put his cot next to hers at nap time. Apparently, she said he's not allowed to sleep anymore 'cause her mommy said that's how you get a baby in your belly.
By the way, this little girl's mother is pregnant. When I was pregnant I told my son, I just wished the baby there and he seemed content with that, but I guess parents are getting more creative. Anyway, I just thought that was cute.

Thats soooo cute. But I like your theory  better. I wouldn't want my kid to have a fear of sleeping.
Something similar happened to me the other day.
My son said "you know mommy, I made you have a baby in your tummy"
I was like reeeally, how so?
"well remember at Thanksgiving, I wished for a brother or sister when I pulled on the wishbone" he was so content with himself. Kids say the cutest things.
