BFing Moms do you drink diet soda?
I know there is so much garbage in it and I feel so bad drinking itm, but water is so blahh and juice has sooo many calories!!!

I know! I drink a lot of water during the day, and juice has soooo many carbs, so I drink diet soda at night with dinner.

I didn't for the same reason. Drank water a lot. When it got boring, I'd throw a lemon or apple slice in it.

I stopped drinking diet soda when I got pregnant and since I BF, haven't had one since. My DH is really against them because he says the chemicals are no good for you.

I did..not all day but I would have a diet soda with lunch or dinner. Juice is full of sugar and calories and not good for you- plus many juices have flavorings, colorings etc... I can't drink water all the time either.

I drink water with a little seltzer to make it a little more exciting. Also, I like to add just a little bit of juice to my full glass of water to liven it up a bit.
Soda and especially diet soda i don't drink now, nor did I drink it before I was pregnant and breastfeeding. It's pure poison and I wouldn't put it in my body... no offense to those who drink it, but girls, it's just so full of sh*t...  you are better off going thirsty...

Well Ms. B....you know me, and you know I'm a diet soda fanatic (yes it is an issue ). When I was BF I limited myself to 1 can of a diet soda a day - sometimes I would have 1/2 with lunch and the other 1/2 with dinner. I can't eat a meal without soda!

i just found diet soda at trader joes called Hansens, it is all natural, calorie-free, no persatives or added 'toxins"! And it tastes great! I had the black cherry, creme, and tangerine lime.
Bella's mom, if drinking diet soda is your only issue, consider yourself lucky

When I was Pg I drank water with a tiny bit of lite fruot punch-in the same section as the OJ. It says 10 calories per serving on it. Not sure of the brand and it's good

While BF, I drank regular soda, but kept it caffeine free. Another option is to drink flavored seltzer.

I used to drink tons of diet coke. Atleast 1 can a day. But I stopped when I got PG and haven't had any since.

Good to know about the Hansens at Trader Joe's - I'll have to give it a try.
