This doesn't answer your first question but what about doing the CORE plan on WW? At least you get fruit on that. I am thinking about that after the baby, flex is a little too liberal for me. I need something NEW.

The WW Core program lets you have fruits and some carbs. This may work very well for you.

I agree the core program would be good for you. I just did the 2st 2 weeks on SBD (I needed a boost) and now I plan to switch to WW CORE.

There are a ton of books on diebetic diets in the stores, mayne you'll do better with one of them insted of a "popular" diet.

Also, on the fitness chanel, there is a doctor that comes to your house and adjusts diets to your needs, maybe you can write to her and get on tv?
