Do you know anything about Condos on Long Island?

DH and I decided to start looking into Condos instead of houses as a starter home sort to speak.

We don't want to deal with a co-op (still trying to get rid of ours) but we like the idea of the condo.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look? I found Birchwood Glenn in Holtsville, but then googled it and saw that it was a co-opChat Icon

We're fine with either Nassua or Suffolk, just not out by Ridge or Coram etc.

Thanks!!!!!!

There is one in Holbrook off of Patch. Holbrook road. Some units are priced in the low $300s and are more like townhouses (bedrooms upstairs)

good luck!

We live in a Townhouse in Manorville, and love the area. We are in the process of selling it to buy a mother/daughter house. The Manorville Condo Scott posted is a small development with not much to offer, we actually looked at them before we purchased ours and the community does not have much to offer.

In Holbrook you have: Woodgate Village which was built in the early 70's; Timber Ridge which was built in the mid 80's and the Colony which was built in the late 80's, early 90's. Woodgate Village will cost somewhere in the high 200's to low 300's. Timber Ridge and the Colony are quite expensive, running from the low 400's to high 500's.

there are 2 condo complexes in Babylon Village. One is Whalers Cove and the name of the other escapes me right now, but it's about 1000 ft from the train station.
