I don't thing my doctor knows what he's doing!

So my current doctor wants me to have the HSG test, and thaks to all of you girls, I have an idea of what it entails. My question is, if my problem isn't ttc, but carring a baby to term, why is he scheduling me for this? A friend of mine is a doctor and told me that the test is given strictly for those who have unexplained infertility. He also discussed giving me clomid, yet failed to explain why or how it would help (once and for all, what is Clomid?) Help! Very confused

a HSG can also show abnormalities in the uterus that would prevent you from carrying to term. Its not just for unexplained infertility at all.
Now if your on meds and dont know why, you have to ASK. It took me 7-8 months of being told what to do before researching on my own and really asking questions, and now I know a lot more.
Clomid helps you produce more eggs, bottom line.

I question everything..its the only way for me.
