I'm also having trouble believing the whole CJ as the Chief of Staff thing. I just don't buy her character at all, no matter how hard I try.

Also, I felt really bad for Donna...do you think that the writers will get them together this season?

I don't think Donna's leaving the show yet ... I didn't pay attention to the opening credits though so I'm not positive if her name was on there. I would love to see them together FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY.
Are we 100% sure that Alan Alda is going to be President and not Santos?

I hadn't heard that...it makes me sad...but I guess its the perfect way to end the series.
Although, isn't will working for Alan Alda?

Will went back with the VP to the White House. In the opening scene we see Will as a congressman years down the road when the Bartlet presidential library is opened, so that's good news.
DH & I were debating the two presidents. If Santos wins, some of the old characters can stay, which I'd love.
On the other hand if Vindig (Alda) wins then it's be like a brand new show - new characters, republican white house, new issues seen from the "other" side ...
I don't know. I love the West Wing. DH & I watch it on Bravo contantly.

Yes but Was Dule? Because if he was, then the credits don't tell us anything...I believe he is only going to be in about 4 or 5 episodes.

I hate all the change!!  And the more change to come!!
Iwish Rob Lowe had been in the very beginning at the library dedication.  I was also disappointed that by Bartlett's interaction with Charlie, it didn't seem like they were in-laws But did think it was very cool that CJ & Danny had a baby 
And yes, if Josh & Donna do not just get it on already, I will have to just give up!!
