Do the kicks really hurt?/

I am 34 weeks now and the past week or so I have been in tears when the baby kicks. I feel this buching up inside and the area where it hurts is reaaly hard and it hurts! but then it goes away. I believe it is where the babies back is..up near my ribs.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Does this mean my contractions will be even more painful!!!

I am 22 weeks and this has not happened to me yet. But when my sister was pregnant, towards the end the kicks were hurting her so bad that she would cry. I don't think you are alone. I am sure this happens to other people.

I am about 25 weeks, and can tell you that little one has been up in my ribs for the last 2 days, she hits me so hard it stops me in the middle of a sentence.

Yes, im 36 weeks - and the kicks are getting stronger and a bit more painful - not overly unbareable but certain kicks can be uncomfortable.

your baby is getting bigger and stronger - it may be kicking near your ribs or down under - i sometimes think i have a soccer player in there !!

I'm 24 1/2 wks and they are starting to hurt. Sometimes it also feels like she is trying to kick her way out "down there" it's painful.

That is exactly what I am going through and today it was 100x worse...
the doctor said its normal, the baby is running out of room so if it tries to turn it hurts us..
