I would like my DH to wear a pink tie to the Christening
Well my daughter is going to be Christened in November I told my Dh that I would like him to wear a pink tie to the occasion, He doesnt seem to think this idea is a good one.
Would youre Dh wear pink ?
Should I stick to my guns ?

mine would probably not.
I think you should let him wear what ever he is comfortable in, so he can have a good time and not concentrate on how uncomfortable he feels. JMO

Can I ask why it is important for him to wear a pink tie? Is there a significance to it?
I would let my DH wear something he is comfortable in.

Mine wore a purple shirt and black tie....
He seems to think I have this wonderful taste... so will pretty much wear anything that I say is stylish
A pink dress shirt- I dont think he would do... but a pink tie- most def.
For our e-party I made him match what I was wearing....(yellow and lavendar)
Again- its not even a fight with him.. since he know I wouldnt steer him wrong...
I dont think you should fight with DH about it... but it worth asking him...

My DH has a pink and lavander shirt with coordinating ties in the pink and purple family. I love the way he looks in those colors and I actually think those colors look great on all men. I think if you get him the right tie with a grey suit it would look great.

I think it's a cool idea, but DH would never go for it. I wouldn't push the issue either. He doesn't dictate my clothing, I wouldn't dictate his.

My husband would wear a pink mexican wrestlers outfit if I asked him to, however, happily, that day has not yet come.

I always said my DH would NEVER wear a pink tie! But...when we went to buy a suit for my sisters wedding...there was a pink pinstripe in the suit (it was beige). The guy in the store picked out a baby blue shirt and several different ties...I threw a pink/blue tie in with the mix...and DH liked the way it looked best. So...he wound up with the pink tie...go figure

I think men look really good in pastel colors. However, I don't think it is necessary for your DH to wear a pink tie to the christening. If he doesn't want to, I don't see the need to fight over it.

Mine did but I didn't ask him too. He had a beige colored suit and a white shirt and a pink tie. The christening was in April so it was very springy looking.
For Peyton's I'm not sure what he wore.

My DH wore a pink shirt with a gray tie and gray pants. He looked sharp! I didn't even ask him too either.
Tell DH real men wear pink  I think it totally looks hot!
