Poll - Repost from TTC need your help in which prenatal vit to choose
went to obgyn today and he gave me a ton of prenatal vitamins to try but I need some input on them. thanks ladies!!!!
edited to say can you please tell me if you had any side effects too ie constipation? thanks

I took the prenate from my ob-free samples until they were done and i had no side effects. My insurance doesn't cover prenatals, it would cost me 50-75 bucks a month, so my dr ok'd the CVS brand, and those don't give me any side effects either.

I took Citrical with Sarah and now with this pregnancy and constipation has never been an issue. They also don't make me nauseus, and I take them right before I go to sleep.

I took and still am taking the primacare. It is morning and evening pill. Its supposed to be good for the developing brain. As my doctor said "you'll have smart babies!".
ETA< I have had no side effects.

I took citrical, then prenate elite.
Both made me extremely constipated- I think they all do.

same here, the Citrical has a mild laxative in it.

I took the Pre Care and was sooooo sick from it. I took Duet DHA now and no side effects.

I am taking Natelle-ez and they are great. No constipation, no upset stomach, no nausea. I love them. And they are coated so I don't gag I was on another kind but because I had severe vomitting they switched me. Thank goodness

I'm a Citrical girl and have had no problems with them. Been on them for well over a year.
