Restaurants in Riverhead area...

I'm local to Riverhead but still have to ask...
any good places to eat besides the usual Boulder Creek, Applebee's, etc...

I have never been there, but I hear the Cooperage Inn is really good (pricey, though)

It's in Baiting Hollow I think

was actually thinking of this place! They have an early dinner special but I don't think DH will be home in time for us to make that. Still considering wether to call and make a reservationChat Icon

Theres also a restaurant, it looks like a house, but its really good...I'm forgetting the name, my cousin used to work there..I will let you know :D

Cooperage Rocks!!!! - my rehersal dinner was there

Tuscan House is awesome!! - Pulaski street (Italiam)

Rendesvous but I like the REAL Elbow Room better for some reason

It was something else and I think in the past year or 2 its become Tuscan House - GoOd Italian food!!! Ala Cart menu from what I can remember - I was there in March.

FYI - Gorgios does not have a restaurant anymore. They are only catering.

wow! I think I was just at Giorgios in februaury for dinner.

I ended up going to Meeting House Creek inn. It was good- casual place...Chat Icon

I was there last October for my DHs birthday. I think they started just catering as of April or May this year.

My Baby shower was at Meeting House. It was good!

Oh, DEFINITELY THE BIRCHWOOD!!!! It's on Pulaski in Polish Town. BEST FOOD! And if you're feeling like eating completely unhealthy, then get a group of people together and go eat their Polish PuPu platter! MMMM SO GOOD!

I also 2nd Diggers. GREAT food!

There is a place in Baiting Hollow called Stonewall's. It is on a golf course called Cherry Creek. It is a little pricey, but the food is DELICIOUS. DH said it was the best steak he ever had.

I have to admit that the food there is good but for what we paid the service SUCKED!!! I dont know, maybe it was because we were there during PEAK time or what but for a dinner for 4 1/2 we were there for 4 hours!!!!

Stonewalls is NEVER busy. I have NEVER had bad service there.
