sleeping habits changing
Talia will be 5 weeks tomorrow - all of a sudden she is barely sleeping. She went to be at 1am last night - woke up at three and slept again from 6-8 that is sooo not like her - she usually sleeps for 4 hours at a time at night.
Now during the day she is doing this thing where she is sleeping for 10 minutes - 30 minutes then wakes up crying. It seems in the late afternoons she wants to eat every hour - sleep 10 minutes wake up, fuss, eat again then sleep for 10 minutes.
Would something like a growth spurt change, or just getting older change her habits? I am going to keel over if she continues this!

You're describing Joseph now and he's 3 weeks. He's up ALL day and takes these little dozes and wakes up so cranky! I know they go through growth spurts at 3 weeks and again at 6 so maybe that's what's happening with Talia too!

Miranda is doing the same thing. Yesterday was a great day, awful evening and so so night. Today has been awful. She would not nap. I finally got her down at noon and she's still asleep. Thank goodness. She gets so fussy and fights sleep.

It sounds like a growth suprt. It usually happens around 6 weeks.

Yup... I had a day like that yesterday. For us, it was definitely a growth spurt... today she's MUCH MUCH better
