Christmas gift dilemna (poll)
I know it may seem early, but we are thinking about gifts for DH dad and Stepmother. (Depending on which way I go, I have to place an order this week, hence the early "stressing." Each year we get them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant since they love to go out to dinner all of the time.
This year we are thinking of giving them each their own gifts. DH stepmother really loves my vera bradley bag and always raves about it. She will not buy it for herself, so I thought it would be a nice gift to give to her for Christmas. The only problem with getting them individual gifts is that DH father is extremely difficult to shop for. He is very simple and it is very hard to find him that something special since he has what he wants and needs.
So my question is do we just get them a gift certificate to a nice restaurant (we were thinking of Tellers since they have never been there) which is something they will both enjoy or do we get them separate gifts in order to get DH stepmom a gift she would love yet have a really hard time figuring out what to get DH's dad?

I would Get Dh's stepmom the Bag and just get his dad a Gift certificate to simons mall which is any store in the mall pratically Or if he likes sports a gift card to the Sports store. Doe he like to go to the movies or see a play get a gift certificate there. Just Ideas I have.or Tickets to a game he likes.

We are trying to stay on a budget this year and there is no way we can get each of them their own gift and the gift certificate to cover dinner- it's either one or the other-otherwise that is exactly what I would have liked to have done.

Can you give her the bag for her birthday instead? That way it is easier on you to get them a combined gift for Christmas?

I voted for the GC too. I know all about men who are tough to buy for and I would save the Vera bag for a birthday or other gift for her.
