Currently we are in a split family house but pay rent to the landlords. Dhs parents have a huge split level home that is already too big. We just found out we are preggo and he wants to ask his parents to split the house where we are on the main level and they are upstairs. Has anyone done this before? I am wondering if the expansions would be worth it for us to do since we would need a kitchen down there, a bathtub in the bathroom and a second bedroom. Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated. We are also considering la bonne vie in patchogue if anyone has any thoughts?
