DH has a job interview on Tuesday... but

OMG!!! This would solve so many problems for us right now. It's for a position with Durham County Government. It could raise his pay up $10-20K more plus it gives you $450.00 flex dollars every month towards which ever benefits you choose. We would put that directly towards a child care flex account. I'm so excited he's at least got an interview, but if he is chosen as a finalist for the position they will need to talk to his current supervisor. My DH's boss does not like my husband. He's sooooo mean to him. He's a very mean person. I'm so afraid that he won't give him a good reference. I think he would blow if for us. I don't know what to do? I told my husband that if you are a finalist that you will need to sit down with your boss and talk to him and tell him how important this other job is to your family, and hope he understands and is willing to help us. I don't know why he doesn't like my DH. He's such a people person and everyone likes him. He deals with hundreds of people everyday and no one has ever had a problem with him. Anyway, please keep your fingers crossed that things work out for us and he gets this job!!! Thanks so much... it means a lot to me!

Good Luck! If his boss doesn't like him then maybe he'll be happy he's gone and give a good recommendation. I hope it works out for you guys, sound like a great opportunity.

Can anyone else at the job (another supervisor in the company) give his reference? I can only hope his boss will give him a good reference with the thought of letting him go
