Anyone have a GREAT OB/GYN in Suffolk
I DO NOT like my Dr and am planning on switching. I am looking for someone who is hands on. Does that even exist anymore?

Dr Birnbaum in Smithtown, my best friend and I used him. He is amazing, VERY hands on and very involved with his patients.

I use Dr Arato in Stony Brook...I have been going to him for years and now a few of my friends and my sister go to him. He has the BEST bedside manners I have ever seen

I use Dr. Todd Griffin in Stonybrook. The office staff lacks a little but his nurses are great and he has been very good to me. He has always taken the time to explain every procedure I had to have and why my paps came back abnormal. He answers every question I have as best he can.

I second this - love, love, love the practice and all of the doc's.....the nurses are wonderful also.

I am seeing the midwives through stonybrook and they are greta so hands on and i feel like they are more personable then the dr.'s

Contemporary Women's Care of Smithtown is Dr. Paone, McKenna, Escamilla and Rubin (she is new.....haven't met her yet).

i was part of dr marins group in smithtown and switched beucase you sit in the office for 2 hours before they see you and your not treated like a patient more like a paycheck for them .

I just love Dr.Kramer of Port Jefferson. He has a private practice just off of Rt 112 near 347. He has a NP in his office Tracy who as well see's patients. He delievers at St.Charles and Stony Brook. I totally recommend him!

Thank you everyone for the advice.I decided to go with Professional Womens care because I drive by it all the time and it always sticks out to me like something is "calling" me there! I know I'm crazy but hey maybe I'll have some luck with my new Doc!!
