Secrets Resorts in PUnta Cana
Has anyone ever been here? We need to make a decision since our trip to Mexico was ruined by the hurricane.

we took our HM there in March 2004, what do you want to know besides it was PERFECT
GREAT food, service, CLEAN, everyone is SO friendly, the rooms are AMAZING (ask for a 3ed floor room-vaulted cielings-there floors go ground ,1st, 2nd)
Totally relaxing, no kids running around, no crazy drunk young adults because singles are not allowed.
Spa and nightclub on the premises (but we did not go).
We went on a night time horseback ride (extra $40 pp I think) because the normal rides fill up so fast.
Did the dolphin swim excursion which was fun, but a waste of $60 pp in my opinion.
ALso, we took professional HM pics (it's the photographers they use for destination weddings, for $60 we got 50 5 x 7 (1/2 B & W, 1/2 color) AND the rolls of film to take home.

We're suppose to go to Mexico in 3 weeks. My parents are coming home tonight so I am going to ask them how bad it is there. Our travel agent hasn't been helpful at all  ,

Thank you for the good reviews. Makes me feel better because there were some not so great ones on tripadvisor.com.... we ended up booking because we were desperate, our hotel in Mexico will be closed until October and there wasn't much else available in two weeks.

Where in Mexico are you going? I know the Cancun area was not hit as bad as the Riveria Maya area. Where are you supposed to stay, I can see if I have info for you....

We were supposed to stay at the Grand XCaret in the Riviera Maya.
