officially changed my name
and i'm a little sad about it. it feels weird to not have the same last name i've had for almost 31 years
but on the other hand, i'd thank to thank social secuirty for their lightening fast, super effecient service.... if i knew i was going to be there for over an hour, i would have bought a book with me. for a 3 minute transaction...ahhh!!
and i went to dmv, again, long wait but thats to be expected, not problems there.
so no more smm...
but it is something i knew i was going to do, just didn't expect to be so sad about it

I am surprised it took you so long at SS - it took me like 2 seconds max!
My 2nd anniversary is this weekend and I am still not really used to my last name.

its alright though, now its done and i don't have to go back

4 years later and I STILL haven't changed it at SS, finally changed it last year at DMV (cuz license expired), it's hyphenated on my passport, and my credit cards are half changed, half not
can you say identity crisis...???
