im glad to hear a good review- i was a huge fan of his, but his last several books have let me down. i'm starting velocity tonight.

OMG that book freaked me out! Not in the normal sci fi sorta way...but definitely a good book! I couldn't put it down and was done with it in two nights.

Deb - same here!! Could NOT put that book down and was exhausted for work after staying up half the night to finish it!

Not at all. Totally unrelated. But if you wanted to start reading his stuff, I would not start with this one. He has written much better books, IMO.
