New member alreadly looking for advise
Hello everyone I am a new member to LI Families
I was looking at a house to purchase in Hauppauge and the only downfall is there are
Electrio Magentic High Tension Wires In the rear of the house it looks like for the town.
I have all the information for www.cancer.org,
LIPA And other sources that provided me with that this isnt a cause for any health problems.
If you can please let me know if I should even go through with putting a bid on this house or should I should just keep looking.
I have a 3 year old and 1 on the way that I am very worried about .

From what I have read on this, there are conflicting reports. This site has some FAQs about it:

60 minutes did a story on it in 2001, you might be able to get a copy of the transcript if you get on their website.

Personally, and this is just my opinion, I feel like there is not enough data either way. This makes me nervous and I personally wouldn't go thru with it.

I personally would not purchase this house. There are enough things we cannot control and this is one we can.

Going for a 2nd look at the house and I am going to ring neighbors bells and ask some questions .

well....if it is a far distance
well powerlines are everywhere....
so i wouldn't be bothered by it
