Worried...dry diaper...no pee in almost 10 hours- back from doctor - updated

I'm worried. I put DD down at almost 10pm last night and she slept til 630 this morning (that's the GOOD part). But I went to change her and her diaper is BONE DRY. I'm worried.

Hmm...is there any chance that DH changed her at all? If not, then give your doctor a call. I've never heard of that happening at all. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

This happened to me on hot days -- she sweat out the fluids. My doctor wasn't concerned, but you should check in to be sure.

I've had this happen on occasion and sure enough within an hour of waking up her diaper was soaked. If she's eating well and it's a one time thing I wouldn't worry. Just make sure her next diaper is wet fairly soon.

YES!!! The little stinker!!! I hung it up and went to her and smelled pee, sure enough it was FULL!

I took her in anyway though and the dr increased the amount of Zantac we give her because of her weight gain (little peanut is 11lbs 9 oz now...and will be 11wks on Friday).

So, we're home and she is sleeping and we'll increase the Zantac to help her reflux and hopefully she will take more formula (she normally has 4-5oz but the last couple of days only takes 2-3oz).

Glad to hear she's ok.

I'm also so happy to hear that she's doing alot better w/her reflux. I used to read your posts and feel so bad for you. I'm glad you're getting sleep and so is she!!! She's so cute!

Glad to hear she is OK
