I know this should be on the pet board but there is more traffic here. Which is easier
to train ect....a male or female dog?????
Is there any pros or cons to getting one or the other

I don't think there is adifference.
Please don't buy from pet store. COnsider adopting or rescuing a dog. If you want a certain dog, go to a reputable breeder.

i think it depends on the dog breed not sex
i think there are some breeds which are easier to train than others

Depends there are going to be accidents for example a male dog the urine will be on the side of the sofa a female dog it will be on the carpet, you choose which is easier to clean? I opt for the female...

actually i have a male dog and he never peed on a sofa....he peed on the carpe when we were training him...
thankfully he is a extremely fast learned

Good point. With females you know it will be on the floor. With males, it can be on the wall, the curtains, the couch, though I think they don't start to do the leg lift thing until they get a little older? Not sure.
