Anyone do yoga?
My friend and I are going to a yoga class in Rockville Centre tomorrow at 6:00 am . This place is having a special for new customers...30 dollars for 30 sessions, so we figure we'd try it out.
Anyone ever try yoga before? Did you notice a difference?

OMG.. I'm so happy you posted this! I wanted to try it and with this special how can I pass it up?! You're going to do the hot room? I hear it's no joke. I've taken regular Yoga at my gym, but apparently this hot room stuff is SERIOUS!

I just looked it up, it's not $30 for 30 sessions, it's $30 for 30 days!!
Still a great deal, but not as good as I initially thought..lol

I love yoga but its only offered 1 day a week in my gym and too early for me. I go when I can but def love it. Different type of workout!

They say to prepare yourself, you need to drink TWICE the amount of water that is recommended normally ... so I guess 16 8oz servings.

i did yoga stef. takes alot of concentration and its not as easy. u get a great workout and u sweat alot. I cant beleive ur getting up sooooo early for class GO YOU!!!

Okay I woke up at 5:15 this morning and left for the gym. Talk about HOT...this room was sweltering!! The class was for 75 minutes and it was pretty good. I signed up for the month for 30 dollars. It was a little weird but afterwards I felt so good. My skin was glowing. I'm going again on Thursday.

I did it once with jennandrob and her sister. It was really hot in there and we were dripping with sweat. But you feel good when its over.

My month trial membership is up but before it ended I got really sick with the flu or something. I'm not sure if that class contributed to it with everyone breathing and it being that hot. I stopped going because my time was up and it's really expensive too...

Stefanie -- I went ONCE...I was dizzy and nauseous...sat out the class after the first 20 minutes but I stayed in the room.....I give you a ton of credit girl!!

I used to do Yoga and I loved it. I want to get back into it again. I really noticed a difference in my body and you will be amazed over time how flexible you will become.

I do it at least 4 times a week and finally got certified to teach it last year so I teach once a week to teachers at my school. I do Ashtanga yoga which is pretty aerobic and a great workout. I hated Bikram- too hot and the poses are the same each time so I got bored.
It is a great for your arms- I have to say I never got the same definition working out with weights.
