I dont Get People
the other day there was this guy outside of my job. he was obviously effed up on some kind of drugs.......
i am thinking heroin or crack or something hard.
he was doing this weird dance, and his eyes were closed and he had no concept of his surroundings. he was in his own little world.
some ppl have seen him around town, i knw a lady who gives him sandwiches.
he is a junkie, but harmless nonetheless.
anyway, so he is out there and i leave him be......
well he was there for a total about 5 hours (i ended up calling the polive to help him out [he eventuially passed out on hte ground])
well can you believe some people had the nerve to VIDEOTAPE him! it wasnt just one perosn either, it was about 4 different people randomly.
one woman kept getting different angles.
i just didnt understand why ppl would want to have a video of this???

Peopl aren't human any more I have seen people jusst taking pics at an accident before and they didn't even help out. Just snapping away. I think people need to relearn how to be human!

Ironically, it's ususally the tourists from the "nice parts" of the country who come out to NYC and act inhuman.

I agree its not really called for, must be an out of towner.

Probably b/c they found it funny and thought it would make a good youtube video or something. I think it's totally wrong to do that, but there are people out there who probably think it's fine.

that is horrible, but unfortunately there are people like that who think its amusing. They don't realize that these drugs are so addicting and how their systems react. People just don't understand.
I'm in the rehabiliation counseling field, and I have heard so many horror stories. I'm going to be doing an internship at a place for people who have substance abuse problems so I will get to see everything up close and personal and help the best that I can.

I agree. I think it is so sad. 
But I think we all have to take responsibility for these kinds of things. Think about the things that people find funny that they have seen and passed along the internet.
Recently someone passed along a link to a video of a woman who fell while getting out of a car and her dress opened up and totally exposed her- and lots of people laughed (it could have been me too). We have become a society that makes fun of people. Think about all the showhidden camera shows or random things on the internet where someone's picture was obviously taken without their consent. It can be funny, but it just makes me sad

yep, i did, and after i saw this i realize how in the wrong i was.... although i feel pics and video are alittle bit different.
at least the only reason i took a pic of that girl was to show you guys exactly how she was acting, to get opinions if i should call the cops or not.
im curious what theyre planning on doing with the videos
