wow- I guess making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau does pay off...eventually
Almost 2 years ago I made a BBB complaint against a store because they claimed I screwed up my mail in rebate, so they refused to give me the promised giftcard. I made the complaint in 2004.
My grandma just called to tell me that they sent me the giftcard (she lives at my old address) with a copy of the complaint I made.
Better Late than NEVER!

Excellent...but ...thats not due to the BBB thats due to the place where you complained about surrendering to the BBB request. I had 2 issues that i had presented to the BBB. One the company went back and forth and said it was my fault and the BBB told me they can only try to mediate not resolve. i think you got lucky that the place you complained about gave in. i dont always hear stories like this one. Good for you!!!

thats true and if you complained directly to them then maybe they would have felt less threatened. BBB can create a negative report on businesses if they dont resolve with the customer.

I did originally complain to them. They basically told me to go fly a kite
LOL...thats great! thats what my people told me too! I had a really sucky florist for my wedding that actually many other girls had on LIW...in the end he was put on shame on you by many girls. Not sure if any got their $ back but BBB didnt do much for me in that situation either. I actually was totally content watching him be humiliated on national TV.

I think from what my dh told me...he changed his name under a new business and still works in that office selling invitations and wedding related stuff. Its always good to change names when things go sour!
the day of my flowers were beautiful...thank God. He was sooooo nasty with me as was the blonde.
