Mom's 60th bday restaurant recommendation
I am looking for a place to go w/ my mom and family for her 60th bday. She's kind of depressed about it so I'd like to make it really special. I'd like it to have a good menu including different types of food like fish, steak, pasta so everyone will be happy. I don't really care where, Nassau or Suffolk. TIA!

let's see...well, a variety of food off the top of my head would be a steak place - like bryant & coopers or something - but I don't know how much they want to spend
how many people?
mangiamo in hutnington is nice for a large group - but family style italian
105 harbor or main (forgot which one) in cold spring harbor is nice - with killer martinis - and their menu is varied

You can do riverbay in Willison park.. you can even do brunch on Sunday. Also there is La Ginestra in Glen Cove.. it is really good.

if it isn't a really large goup
there are lots of places in the huntington/greenlawn/northport area
crossroads cafe is good in e. northport
piccolo's in huntington
ruvo in greenlawn
