went to ann taylor loft yesterday
and i tried on a pair of gauchos..
the back pocket felt like it was stuffed with something, i pull it out and its like 20 of those security tabs!!!
someone must have brought in a bunch of stuff into the dressing room, took scissors, cut out the scurity tag things, stuffed them into one of the items in her dressing room, left it there and took all the clothes home!!!!
the girl in the front was floored! but thing is, she told me they dont count items for the dressing room, and there are NO cameras! I coulnt beleive it! I dont even want ot think about how much money the company is losing from people easlily stealing things!!
Such a target!
The girl told me "we dont feel like counting items in the dressing room"
meanwhile, in forever 21, the clothes are all pinned to those big round things (even a $4 belt!) and they cout dressing room items like nazis!
I just cant believe ann taylor loft is so careless..

I am so over Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft. IMO the quality of clothing is not like before. I am not surprise that this is happening at all. Damn, they must lose alot of money on day to day basis.

i used to work at the Gap... same thing there... actually we used to have to go to loss prevention training and at the time, once you loose sight of an item (someone goes into the dressing room) you cant do anything about it... so even the places where they count things, they really cant do anything about it if you have one less item! and unless you have specfic people hired for security you cant go chasing after people eaither if they just walk out of the store with stuff!

I agree! I worked at ATL in college and I still have clothing that's in excellent condition but stuff I bought more recently I've had to get rid of.

I'm not surprised. But I didn't realize it was so easy to remove those security tags 
with the mark up on anything retail, they won't be closing anytime soon because of theft.
