How long should you wait to TTC after you stop taking PC
Just curious.....I've been on the pill for 10 years. I want to go off it anyway. I think I've been on it for too long.

i heard start asap my doctor said i could gert preganant right away but you wont be regular yet... but it' possible she said there is a myth that you are more fertile when you gooff the pill.... she said it's never been proven but she see's it alot

I think this is one of those things that every doctor is different. Mine told me 3-6 months at a minimum, but I came off 9 months before we wanted to start trying. The reason I went on the pill 12+ years ago is because I wasn't getting my period, so he wanted as much good cycle information as possible. I chart and so far so good. I guess I outgrew my issues.

Hi there. I usually hang around the pregnancy board but was "peeping" today - hope you dont mind! this question was right up my ally so thought Id say hello :)
I was on the pill for 10 yrs and my dr said to come off for 2 -3 mths before trying just to make ure you were regular again.
I was only off it for 1 1/2 mths and became prego - the sonos show baby is healthy and all is fine. I am 20 weeks.

My Dr. told me there was no need to wait. As soon as you stop taking the pill it's out of your system. I does take some people a while to get regular though.
