Positive Test?
Is a positive test always accurate??
My period is 2 days late and I have been feeling quite funny (weight gain, tired, moody)
so my fiance told me maybe i was PG. Well i went and bought a test and it came up PG.
Is this accurate? Should I take another or go to a doctor?

They are usually very accurate. I would make an appt with your doctor.

I've heard there's no such thing as a fals positive, but there's definitely such thing as a false negative. So I also suggest calling your dr.

Thanks. I don't have an OBGYN down here in FL, so tomorrow I will have to find one!! What a christmas gifts for my parents and his!

Is it normal that they don't see you right away?
They don't want to see me till January because they don't like seeing the patients till the 7th week.
Is that normal????
I feel like I should be going right away!

It's totally normal for them to see you at 7 weeks. At that time, they will be able to see or perhaps hear the heartbeat, if you go earlier you might not see a thing.
Just take care of yourself and before you know it, you'll see your little one

The same thing happened to me- its totally normal. The doctor saw me at 6 1/2 weeks.

Oh ok.
I guess I will just have to have patience!!!
Now, I will be married on New Years eve. We are trying to figure out how and when to tell them. We are thinking two different ways.
The first is tell them on Christmas, maybe get something "Grandparent" related. And the other way is to wait till we are married.
Was anyone else in a similar situation?

Sounds like your PG. My doctor also said that you do not get a false positive. Congrats!
