Ideas for a graduation gift for my brother...
My brother is graduating college in June and DH and I want to get him something nice. I know he would appreciate money, but I'd like to give him something lasting. It's also a combination birthday gift since his birthday is just a few days after graduation. We are looking to spend $200-$300. I'd like to spend more but I had to buy a flight to go to the graduation. I wouldn't mind splitting the money between a gift that will last and something more "disposable" (i.e. clothes, etc).
Any suggestions? I'll have to fly with it so it can't be huge either.

That sounds like a really cool job!
I don't really have any ideas I know after I graduated, one thing I needed to buy were more professional clothes.

What about an engraved business card holder? It is something he probably wouldn't buy himself and would probably keep for a while. You could get either the type that sits on the desk, or the type that you put in your pocket that holds 10-15 cards. I also use one of those legal pad covers a lot in meetings - the leather folder type things, that you can put a pad of paper in, and it has a pocket on the other side and a pen holder.
Someone hinted to me that they were going to get me a briefcase once, but I have never carried one, and if I did, I think it is something I would prefer to choose myself.

Maybe a gift card to men's wearhouse for the work clothes he might need for his first job, or gift card for ebgames so he can do some "research." Or a nice engraved watch or moneyclip for all the money he's going to make. My FH is a programmer and he loves flash drives. They have all different ones at varying levels of fanciness, and they're always indispensible.
