apparently i have never drank enough fluids daily (well, what i did was mostly diet coke or diet pepsi anyway!)..... or eaten as much as I should..even trying to follow the wheel thing of portions she gave me makes me stuffed!......

and somehting that is as tiny as a grape currently will soon be able to grow into a human...amazing....

That tea is a natural diaretic. That explains a lot.

That I could worry so much about someone I've never met.

This I really discovered after my daughter was born, but really how deeply I can love and that I really think I could kill someone who wanted to harm her. And I'm amazed that someone who can't communicate could teach me so much every day.

I learned that being PG is not as easy or glamorous as most people I've known made it seem, and you don't just continue to go through your regular daily routine "with baby".

-That i really can live without my 5 cans of diet coke a day and am growing pretty fond of flavored seltzers :)

-That i knew my already "D" boobs would grow but didn't anticipate feeling that they would actually take over and keep my body hostage even in the first days of pregnancy!!

And finally...that my husband and family could ever become so excited over a being no bigger than a chickpea and be the best support team i could ever have.

That morning sickness lasts all day long for at least 3 months

How tired one body can possibly be.

how big not only my stomach would get, but my legs and the rest of me as well.

How nice it is to hear the baby's heartbeat on the doppler every night.

That DH and I would grow to love baby so much even after 13 weeks of being PG!

1. Morning sickness can last all day

2. You can get heatburn from breathing.

3. How crazy you can act.

4. How you could love something so much without seeing or knowing him/her.

- that not everyone gains their baby weight in their belly ... my butt and boobs are getting enormous but my belly looks just bloated I think I'm carrrying this kid in my azz

- that you can feel nauseous but still SO hungry all at the same time ...

- that you can cry at the drop of a hat about ANYTHING.. commercials, TV shows (even stupid sitcoms), reading an article.. nothing is off limits

- how gassy one human being can be

- as discussed on another thread - those sex dreams - man oh man, need I say more?

Since I am so newly pregnant I still have things to learn, but here are mine after only a few weeks.

1. I always thought that I couldn't possibly be any more tired after work. I was wrong.

2. I can function without caffine.

3. I need to eat a lot more then I already do.

4. That my DH is the sweetest man alive. I always suspected, but now I am positive.

5. That the commercial my DH and I used to make fun of where the woman is jogging and says something like "I can't concentrate. Could I be pregnant?" is not a joke. I can't remember shi!.

That being pregnant gives you all day nausea, heartburn and gassiness

That you worry all the time that something 2 inches long is okay and growing

That DH would be so helpful around the house!

This made me laugh...I took a HUGE certification exam the week before I got pregnant. I am so glad it was before because I suddenly became "ditzy" and "forgetful" soon after the test. I'm so glad I passed and didn't have to study while pregnant!
