Question about those 2 purple lines???
Okay when you see 2 purple lines you are ovulating correct.... Should you then have sex right away...

The test line should be as dark or darker than the control line...

Yup. I got my 2 lines today too (First time using the tests!), so we BD already today, hope to do it again tonight, and hopefully once tomorrow.

good luck! can i ask what CD you are on? I am on CD 11 and just took a OPK and nothing yet...
I am on CD19. I've only had two AF since being off BCP, and my first cycle was 34 days long, the next was 31 days, and it looks like this one is going to be around 34 (although I hope no  this month!!). It's true that you ovulate 14 days before AF is due, right? I've been trying to watch for CM and then got the tests, so I'm pretty sure I've gotten down when I'm ovulating!
  To you!! How long have your last few cycles been?

No, that is not true.
Really?  I thought that was the case, that's where the '2ww' comes from too? So confused then!!

I don't know the answer to this, every place I read seems to have a different opinion.  We have been BDing every other day starting at like CD10, but I just got my 2 blue lines at CD19 yesterday, so we BD once yesterday and will once today too.
Anyone know what we *should* be doing?

I think that is just an average...
There are people with longer and shorter luteal phases...
Mine is only 11-12 days.

also...getting the two lines usually doesn't mean a surge
at least not the brand i use
the TEST line has to be darker than the reference line!

So, if your cycle is shorter, you would start testing earlier
They always had me starting at cd10 or 11

Then yes...as long as the test line is AS DARK OR DARKER than the control line
