New Moms, What are you doing for Grandparents?
Any good gift ideas?
I want to do something nice for my mom since Miranda is her first granddaughter. Any good ideas?

We don't have a lot of money so I am trying to think of things to do that will mean a lot without breaking the bank.
I picked up some wooden frames from Michael's and I am going to paint each one differently for each grandparent -- for examples my mom's will be yellow (her fav color) with flowers and will say Emily Loves Her Grandma and will have a picture of my Mom holding Emily in it.
I am trying ot think of other tihngs also but I know that's definate.

We are getting the parents personalized picture frames that say Jacob Loves his grandma and grandpa!!! and putting a picture of him in it.
We are going to get his professional pictures done on Tuesday ( 3 month old)...

Go to walgreens.com (if you have a walgreens near you) they make a personalized everything... really cheap too...You dont even gotta leave your house...
I think im getting all the grandparents, a calendar, the mouse pad (for the ones who work in an office), and a coffee mug....

Also at ofoto.com they have tons of things you can get personalized -- mugs, moues pads, calanders with a different pic each month, etc.

For my mom I got her a charm that had the babies picture engraved in it from a jewelry stire she loved it. The picture people make statues out of pictures so I am thinking of getting that done for my grandmother sinceits her first great grandchild. I am going to this place in plainview called high tech they charge like $35 but htey have different sizes as well
