Jesse's sick for the first time

Jesse is a little over seven months and he's got his first cold. We took him to the doctor and he also has an ear infection. I feel so bad for him - when he tries to sleep you can hear the congestion and mucus. Poor little guy! And I fee awful because there's not much I can do. Any suggestions to make him more comfortable?

when you give him a bath you can use the johnson & johnson vapor bath

put a pillow or something under the mattress to raise his head so he can breathe easier

They have those vicks vapor plugs that are out now also a cool mist humidifier is good

They have the baby vicks vapor rub you can put a little on his chest


I hope h e feels better soon Its hard when they are sick and they cant tell you whats bothering them or if they are comfy or not I feel so bad

Awww poor little guy. Evenflow makes a small cool mist vaporizer, that seemed to help my John last month when he was sick. Also try pediacare cold and cough. And as Marissa said try to elevate him at night

Poor Jesse, I hope he feels better soon. Nate also got his first cold this week. It's so painful to to see them sick.

A cool mist humidifier does wonder!!!! We keep it on all winter long. It really helps them

Hope he feels better soon!!! Elevating definately helps and so does the humidifier!!

Thanks for the advice - we have the humidifier going and the saline drops. He seems to be in good spirits - such a trooper!
