AF please come back... Im begging.....
It has been 33 days since the D&C... where or where are you......
Udpate 10/13/06: 37 Days later and AF has finally returned!!! I am so relieved and we are back in business!!!

Hi Girls....how are you counting? I had a mc too last month(natural)....when do you start counting from? the day you started to bleed from the mc or the day that it all stopped or the day the tissue passed? Sorry to hijack!

I bled for 18 days so this stinks I heard you have to count from the last day of bleeding, but I guess I am wrong. What did your doctors say? i have read from other woman that have had miscarriages from natural and or D&C that they usually get it one month give or take a few days from when it happened. So maybe that is from when it started??? so confused.

My Doctor said 4 - 6 weeks from the D&C.... so I was rrreeaaallllyyyy hoping for 4 weeks....... Im not too anxious...
I count from the day of the D&C....

This is most likely your period. I had a natural m/c bled for 26 days stopped for 1 and then got AF!

how did you know it really was your cycle though? By the tappering off from the MC to the beginnings of a cycle? I just don't want this to still be from the D&C.

Sounds to me, also, like it is your period.......I have also read on some of the other boards (FF) of women that bled for 3 weeks, stopped for a day then got AF...
I hope it is your AF... then at least things are back to normal for you....physically..... Good Luck...

I am so greatful for this thread...
I didn't have a D&C, I passed the tissue on my own. I am still bleeding alot...does this count as AF? Or now do I wait for that to come, and then wait a full cycle before trying again?
My cycles are so long, this is upsetting.

I am so sorry for your loss
For me, after the D&C I bled for 16 days and this is my first normal cycle since..... I was told, by the Doctor, to wait for this cycle because of the d&C.. Im not sure about a natural loss.....I believe you can start trying...

I was told as soon as we were mentally ready, we could start again...I also had a Natural Miscarriage...so maybe that is the difference...it does stink but the one thing I was greatful for was when they did the sono after I passed the tissue, the Dr. said everything looked good for the next pregnancy. Best of luck....I am so sorry that you have to deal with this. But to answer your question, i bled from Friday to the following Sunday....so a week and 2 days...then that was it. My periods are generally very light anyway, so i am assuming that is why this bleeding didn't last that long. Best of luck to you!!

Thank you. I was told at my sonogram that everything was looking good too. I just have to go for one more blood test next week to make sure my number goes down to zero. My cycles are typically 28 days long, so if I wait for a full cycle to pass I should be able to try in mid December. It seems so far away!
