telling your parents....

ok so I am actually scared to tell my parents that i am expecting. I was preggo once and miscarried and when i told my rents they were not happy with me bc i guess we were not married yet, but we were engaged so they did not talk to me for about a month and were not there for me when i had the miscarriage. so do you think i should wait to tell them till october with a little picture or bib, or tell them now and let them get over it? I mean i am married and we have everything set just like last year, but we are married now... o jeese the pain of this all i want to be happy but i am soooooo scared to tell them...TIA

first off for the MC...

i totally think their reaction will be different this time. a lot of parents are old fashion but u r married now and i am sure they are going to be happy to be having a grandchild!!!

U have to tell them when YOU want to and when u feel ready!!! i know i would have never been able to make it that long though!!

we are still not sure how we are telling our parents. one set are grandparents already and the other set of parents this will be their first grandchild.

I don't think we can keep it to ourselves much longer, we are planning on telling family over the labor day weekend.

I would like to tell everyone over labor day weekend but dh will be in las vegas he made these plans like 8 months ago so that is a negitive for me, but i guess i will wait till october when i get a sono which is in 3 more weeks and we will see from there. It is going to be the first grandchild for both of sets of family and we planned it this way only bc i am off of work from april till july (iteach at a college) and if i want i don't have to work july and august... but we will see Thanks girls!

I am getting a sono on Tuesday! I am so excited, so I will have that for the labor day weekend to show everyone. They warned me it won't look like much other than a little bubble, but they will definitely get the idea.
