Nope.
If you don't want to tell me who you are, I don't have to answer.
I've been meaning to block private calls on our house phone for a while now.
Sorta hijack -- did you get TONS of "vote for so-and-so" calls this weekend?? I hate that.

I do - I hate "Not Knowing!"  And, for whatever reason, my aunt always comes up as restricted or unknown. I usually figure it's her.

Me neither - but we don't have a home phone - just the cells. My dad was about to blow his top last night b/c he said they'd been calling him all day during the golf match, then the Jet's game, then the Giant's game.

I never answer restricted cause none of our friends/familys #s are unavailable or restricted. I can't stand the telemarketers or people asking for donations.

Nope - that is precisely why I have call waiting. Plus, I have most of my family and close friend's home and cell#s programmed into my phone. If I don't know who it is, I assume it is someone I don't want to talk to.
It kills DH though, not to answer the phone

I used to not pick it up...but have since figured out that they will just keep calling and calling and callllling! Now its easier to pick it up and deal with...ooh and by deal with I mean lie to.
For instance, if they ask for DH I tell them that the should go find his secratary because he just left me and his life to live with that skank.
It's funny to me to hear how they react.

That is one of my SIL's favorite things to do - make up stories to get a reaction out of them

i have the thing on the phone where you have to unblock your # to call me (*82) i dont really have any weird numbers calling me- no telemarketers since i our my # on do not call ist. I did get a lot of vote for so and so calls this weekend!
