Caiden is growing up sooo fast!

He'll be 2 in 8 weeks!!! I can't believe how fast it went by so far. I just started being able to bring him to his race car bed put him in bed awake, I read Elmo Big Enough for a Bed and Goodnight Moon 3 times each, , and then I tell him light out and night, night, and for the most part goes to sleep. The other night he told me Bye!!! For the first time last night I was reading Goodnight Moon to him, and for the first time he was reading the story right along with me! I couldn't believe it.

I don't know how big he is since he hasn't been to the Peds since he was 18 months, but he's wearing 3T shirts and pants and some 4T shirts.

He just amazes me everyday with all the new things he does and says everyday!

He stunned us before Halloween because on 2 separate occassions, he decided to read 2 different words, that as far as I know he's never seen. When we were pumpkin picking, we were trying to take pictures and to distract him we gave him a wood painted sign that said "Boo". We handed it to him and the first thing he said was Boo!!! We couldn't believe it, because we didn't tell him what it said. Maybe he saw it daycare or something, but it was strange. Another time we were looking at something with Oscar the Grouch on it, and it said Grouchy, and he pointed to the word and said Grouchy??? Maybe it was a coincedence, but it was another weird moment.

Anyway... I just can't believe how old Caiden is. He's such a big boy. Everyone at Disney thought he was 3 or 4 yrs old. Not even close!

I have a big boy too.. enjoy him... All of a sudden my boy went from a couple of words here and there to full-out sentences and conversation.. like he was talking for ten years!! I kinda missed the "little boy talk"...

Thats awesome that hes having word recognition!!
