Got SOME of my blood work today..UPDATE>>>Questions for those who had PUPPS
No cholestasis...however they are still waiting on the PUPPS results...
Im happy all is well..but also a little sad, because I just wanna know whats wrong, and why this is all happening...and I want some RELIEF!!!!!
The steroids have made no difference( I mean its only been 2 days worth of medicine..but I think Im even itchier..if thats possible) Im constantly trying all these over the counter remedies..just to be disappointed..
I think I HATE my DR. if its possible.. I just feel like they are blowing me off.. and I know this is not normal.. Why is my blood work taking over a week to get back??
Those of you who have had PUPPS or been tested..how long did it take you to get your results..??? Also...what did the DR do for your itchiness???
The DR is trying to tell me that my lab results are in TEXAS, because there like the only ones who run this test  ... PLease...

That's good news that it's not cholestatis...and since you don't have a rash, I highly doubt you have PUPPPS.
I know these itchies are driving you crazy and like I've said before when I thought I had PUPPPS because of the red rash I had on my belly and arms, I used that soap and it went away within days.
I hope you get relief soon!!!!!!!!

OK well- today I called yet again checking on my other test results...
As usual I got the "we have to call you back" and after not getting a return call in 5 hrs... I called them back...
They tell me the still dont have the results.. however they are gonna call and check on them and call me back later...
Well like an hour later the receptionist calls me back to tell me...
NY RESULTS WONT BE IN FOR ANOTHER 21 DAYS
Im sorry but what the he!! is going on???Since when does blood work take almost a month...
Im due in a little over 30 days... so if something is wrong what...we are gonna find out after the baby is here..or possibly a week before my due date...
I flipped out..saying the steroids arent helping..if anything I feel worse.. I even said... "should I just got to the ER...will I get some HELP then... at least there I would get my lab work back...
The NP then got on the phone saying that the steroids are the only thing they are gonna give me if its PUPPS anyway..so it really dosent matter what the results are.. because Im already getting treated for it..
I just dont understand..I want a 2nd opinion so bad, but I dont know where to get one... This is soooo fustrating.. Im so scared something is wrong.. and my DR is not doing anything!!
ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN TEST FOR PUPPS... HOW LONG DID IT TAKE YOU TO GET YOUR RESULTS??????

This may not be related but my husband had insane dermatitis/psoriasis and NOTHING helped. Until I bought him Aveeno unscented body wash. Sometimes certain products can make you itchy and this can happen any time in your life. Also unscented and no dye laundry detergent. Can't hurt!

I have suffered from these bumps (PUPPS) also, and it almost drove me insane. I couldn't sleep and i was getting really cranky. I searched and searched the internet for solutions and i was beggining to feel like there was no hope til my baby was born. I tried all kinds of creams and also benadryl cream and it didn't work. Nothing the doctor's told me worked. Finally at night every 6-8 hours I would take Benadryl (50 mg) and I would keep applying Cortisone 10 Plus cream and within a couple of days the rash was under control and within a week the rash was gone.
If it isnt pupps it wouldnt hurt to try cortisone 10 cream...................
