i saw this house 2 years ago when we were looking in wantagh that is considered wantagh off of merrick rd. this block is very busy with traffic coming through. good schools my girlfriend lives on mandalay. think $550 is over priced they were asking $425 a couple years ago and looks like the kitchen was updated.

I live a few blocks south of here and prices have really jumped a lot. We bought 2 years ago and our house has appreciated at the same rate as this one seems to have.

but the downside is its on a busy street and the road is narrow wantagh was my first choice but we found a great amazing deal in huntington village with more property.

I agree, Bayview is a crappy street to live on. We are on the corner of Bayview and it's really noisy. I'm amazed how fast the prices jump up, we haven't done that much work to the house to justify such a large jump in such a short time. IMO.

we bought our house for $365 June of 04 the house across the street sold last month for $415 and they have to redue the whole inside they took up the rugs and have to get the floors refinished, put sheetrock up since the walls are original with wallpaper and paint on top of it, unfinished basement.

We got the house with new hardwood floors new walls painted full finshed basement, cac and so much more. i actually feel bad for my new neighbors becuase they are living in one room until they can start fixing the house an they got married two weeks ago its alot to take on. We we were lucky to find a house when we did and wish everyone who is looking luck and to be patient and not too settle.
