Sad over baby's b-day!!

Did anyone else have issues with their youngest turning 1??? My son will be 1 year old on 8/19 and I think I'm having real issues with it!

I was so excited when my daughter's first birthday came around.. but I'm feeling really sad that he is turning 1! I guess maybe its because he is my baby and its just going so fast!!!!

I've been really mulling over the idea of #3, but DH wants to hear nothing of it right now.... Oh, what to do... I want so much to be excited for Zachary, like I was for Kaila..


Anyone one else feeling the same way????

I cried when Sammy turned one. I was sad that an entire year went by so fast. I will let you know about sara in February

i am so sad every month. i know exactly what you mean. DH thinks i'm crazy but i keep saying ooo i'll never have another 6 month old...DH definitly does not want anymore!

I too got emotional when DD turned one. I guess I felt that everything went so fast. The funny thing is I turned 30 the previous year and it didn't bother me in the least.

I got sad when Patrick turned one. And now that the girls are almost 2 months away from being one. it's killing me!!

I am glad to hear I am not alone. I am feeling really emotional about her turning 1. it's all happeneing too quickly. I am proud of the little girl she is becoming - but sometimes miss my little baby.

I was very emotional when my DS turned one as well. I felt the same way you are all feeling. Now I don't so much get depressed over his birthday but he is about to turn 4 and I think I am in serious denial about it

I think I am so excited about planning her party right now and the fact that it's in our new house that the reality of my baby growing up hasn't hit me. I'm sure at some point it will although I do love this stage and how much fun I have with her.

I feel ya. I can not believe how fast it really went. I think a lot of it has to do with big mans beginning. He is just such a miracle baby in every sense of the word. I am here with a shoulder if you needed it. Love ya. (Zacky and Kaila too. )

Thanks. This week was so overwhelming knowing that one year ago we were in NICU and from there a wonderful friendship was formed. I love you and could not have done this year without you and your family by our side. Thanks again.

my baby is turning 1 on sept 23 and i have been crying over it for about 3 months....especially after booking bella's birthday party. I feel like so much time has past...i try hard to think of the years ahead and it helps me to get over the fact that the infant stage is over. I also feel like im ready for another baby but part of me feels that i should enjoy bella for a while longer....
