Full-Figured Ladies - Where do you buy your suits?
I would like a new pantsuit and not sure where to go - don't really want to spend $$$$$. About a 14 on bottom but bigger on top!!
Any suggestions?

Ann Taylor - you can buy separates and it isn't very expensive.

Ann Taylor Loft. But I have a hard time finding things that fit me and their pants fit well. Plus sized clothes are too big on me and most "normal" stores just don't fit comfortably. 
I haven't bought thins in a long time.

I've actually gotten some that look nice at Target and at Kohls. They both sell the slacks and jackets as separates, which I like. I didn't want to spend a lot, but needed a suit for a luncheon. I didn't wear them to work a lot, so I don't know how they'd hold up to regular cleaning since I only had them done once in a while.

Yes, they carry to size 16. Some styles run a little small, but most are true to size.

I buy them at Macy's and then have everything altered by my MIL (at least she's good for something  )
But, I don't ever button my jackets. In fact, I have 1 Kaspar suit that doesn't even have a button on the jacket at all

Macys and sometimes L&T - I have gotten Tahari suits at Macy's for 60% off at times. They have suit separates too.

I find this frustrating, I am just dont' fit into the larger size, and then the 12/14 are snug/tight or uncomfortable, and then 16 are swimming, there is no happy medium!!

TJ Maxx too has a bunch of new cute suits-just got a suit in a colorful tweed for 18 dollars! But they have new stuff in larger sizes form 69.99-150 for a suit-really cute denim look one

That's where I fall. I like Ann Taylor Loft pants, they have up to 16. I am short & I find the 14 petites fir me well, I don't have to go up a size, like I do in some petite brands. I havent' tried jackets from there though. I hate jackets , I can never move my arms comfortably.

That's my vote too! I buy Worthington Seperates....so I can get the different sizes for te top & bottom. I USUALLY spend about $80 for the whole suit!!!
