I know this question seems to be asked a zillion times but...
I need restaurant recommendations. My husband & I want to go out on a date before the babies come. I need a yummy restaurant in Nassau or Queens. Here's the ONE annoying detail. My husband is a complete meat & potatoes type of guy. So it has to be a place where he will have more then 2 choices of what he can order.

For meat & steak Don Ricardos Mexican Place in West Babylon. Great place for Fajitas & their Potato skins are to die for.
Morton's Steak House is awesome, but pricey.

Nick & Maggies on Union Turnpike in New Hyde Park (? not sure, but in Queens, just a bit west of Lakeville Rd.) DH and I go there for special dinners, because he loves steak and there are plenty of things for me to order, since I don't eat steak 
The food is great and ambiance is nice.

I am actually going there tomorrow night for dinner...I'll let you know how it is, but I've heard great things about it.

We LOVE Trinity's on Jericho Tpke ( Floral Park I think) They have THE BEST pot roast and mashed potatos. Its a Irish pub/restaurant and the food is awesome!!

Antonioettes (Sp) on Merrick road in Bellmore
Amazing food. We went there this past saturday night. I had the most amazing shark steak stuffed with crab meat...It was just amazing. They have Filet Mignon, chicken, Seafood, and Pasta dishes...
